ABSTRACT:
The present study attempts to examine the present status of elementary school teachers employed in Raipur District. Thus survey was conducted in the year 2008-09. The result of the study reveals that the percentage of female teacher is higher in private school as compared to male teachers and it is also found that number of female teachers in less in service training as compare to male teachers.
