ABSTRACT:
Hypokinetic problem is a condition related to or caused by lack of physical inactivity over a long period of time, and is manifested in the form of obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, low back pain, and adult onset (type 2) of diabetes mellitus. In the present study was conducted to find out prevalence of hypokinetic problems among women of different profession. To find out the prevalence of hypokinetic problems among women engaged in different profession. The sample of the study consisted of 500 women from different professions with in the age range from 25 to 50 years. A Self structured questionnaire was used for data collection. The result of the study revealed that 34.4% participants were healthy, where as 12.8% participants reported diabetes 29.9% women reported blood pressure and 23.6% were found to be obese.
