ABSTRACT:
The objective of present empirical piece of research work is to examine the predicting effect of cultural intelligence on acculturative stress. Following the incidental cum random sampling technique 200 north Indian engineering students within the age range of 18 to 25 years were drawn from different engineering college of, Warangal districts, to serve as participants in the present research work. In present research work correlational research design was employed. Acculturative stress was measured by acculturative stress scale (Khan, 2015). Cultural intelligence was measured by Cultural intelligence was measured by 20- item cultural intelligence scale (Ang, et al., 2007). Hierarchical multiple regression models were used to examine the predicting effect of acculturative experiences on acculturative stress. Results of study indicated that, cultural intelligence was significant predictors of acculturative stress. It is concluded that there is sufficient empirical and statistical evidence of the predication effect of cultural intelligence on acculturative stress.
