Abstract: People's participation in developmental plans
is essential factor for program implementation. Attitude and expectancy have
been inderititied as crucial factors which determine the behaviour. Therefore
it was assumed that attitude and expectation about future development would
affect the involvement incornmunal development programs like
education,health, agriculture, loan and training. self-employment programs related to
cooperative society and public food supplies The study employed 2x2 factirial
design taking to levels of attitude (low/high) and two levels of expectations (negative/positive).
Attitude and expectation were found to be effective factors which determined
the involvement in the programs related 10 loans. Interaction effects of
attitude and expectation were found to be ssignicant for agriculture and
programs as a whole.
